Educational Environment and Educational Law - A conference publication within the Institute's Paper Series

The Institute of Educational Law at Uppsala University's Faculty of Law arranged a one day conference within the scope of Educational Law on the theme: Educational Environment and Educational Law - from preeschool to doctoral degree. The conference took place in Uppsala on Wednesday the 24th of November 2021. 

The Institute is in the working process of publishing a book within the Institute's Paper Series where the seminar presenters on the conference are invited to contribute with an article on the same theme as their conference seminar presentation. The Institute's Conference on Educational Law on November 24th 2021

Educational Environment and Educational Law - from Preeschool to Doctoral Degree

Speakers and seminar presenters were mainly researchers within the scope of jurisprudence, social sciences, humanities and practicing lawyers. Invited conference participants are adacemically active, representatives for swedish authorities as the Swedish National Agency for Education, the Swedish School Inspectionate, and the Swedish Higher Education Authority, principals, and teachers' unions and many more. 

The Conference was financed by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond in cooperation with the Uppsala University's Faculty of Law. 

The Institute for Educational Law aims to hold a conference every two years. The first conference was organized in the autumn of 2014. Since then, IfU has arranged three conferences, in 2016, 2018 and 2021.

Nordic meeting for researchers on November 23rd 2021
Educational Environment and Educational Law - from Preeschool to Doctoral Degree focusing on Development and Challenges in the Nordic Countries 

The day before the Conference, on November 23rd, the Institute arranged a Nordic meeting for researchers within the Institute's Network in the nordic countries. 

Every other year, the Institute of Educational Law arranges a Nordic meeting. This is where the idea was born for a Nordic seminar series. The purpose of the Nordic seminar series is to connect, and exchange experiences, between the Nordic countries on the matter of educational law and research. Invited speakers are researchers from the Nordic countries. The amibition is to host two nordic seminar per semester.
